Have you ever dreamed about getting chosen to appear on a game show, and being paid millions of dollars to show off your smarts to the word? These folks were definitely lucky to be selected, but they definitely didn't get a chance to show off their "smarts." Below, we've put together a list of the most cringeworthy moments on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. The only thing worse than losing a game show is being chosen, scoring a chance to win, and blowing it on the very first question in the dumbest way possible.
Some of the funny Who Wants to Be a Millionaire answers below will make you totally lose faith in humanity, while other wrong answers are more understandable. Nervousness about being on TV combined with lack of sleep are definitely reason enough to bomb a question, but some of these gameshow contestants completely lack common sense.
Check out the best Who Wants to Be a Millionaire fails below, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section.

Ahh, the reality show. What other medium seems to focus on fame mongers and/or washed up celebrities trying to make themselves relevant? TV is full of reality programming these days, and that means more and more reality TV fails for the Internet to enjoy and mock. Reality television is a source of some of the biggest TV fails of all time, and more than its share of the classic TV host nip slip.
Not just Nancy Grace's stint on Dancing with the Stars, this list includes all of the greatest reality TV fails in recent history. From the host of Australia's Next Top Model announcing the wrong winner, to Snooki getting punched in the face, here are the other greatest and most cringeworthy fails from all across reality television programming. The beauty of reality TV is the car crash element, and a world in which nip slips to overall FAILs, can happen relatively often. We aren't watching Real Houswives for the stories!
So what are the worst reality show FAILs? There are a number. From Verne (Mini Me) Troyer riding a scooter around a house naked and then peeing in a corner, to the worst ideas in invention show history, to the worst face plants in TV dance audition history: enjoy. And if any aliens are watching via radio waves in outer space, please kindly switch over to more educational programming. We promise the human race isn't all Jersey Shore and celebrity competitions.
The Top 13 Most Cringeworthy Reality TV Show FAILs,
Bulletball on American Inventor
This is probably the saddest thing you will see today, even if you see a puppy AND a kitten get a terminal disease on your way to (or on your way home from) a crappy day of work.
On the show American Inventor (where inventors pitch their life-long dreams/ideas to a panel of venture capitalists/investors), Marc Griffin makes his case. This middle-aged African American gentleman sold his house, quit his job, sold his car, got left by his wife... all for a game that he honestly believed was going to be an Olympic Sport.
The sport: Bullet Ball! What is Bullet Ball? A glorified dining room table with neon colored balls with which you play a game of hand-Pong.
The FAIL? Losing his entire life to the most unoriginal game idea since "table tennis" or "don't wake daddy."
Everything Nancy Grace Has Done on Dancing with the Stars
I could seriously make an entire list out of pundit/"News" reporter extraordinaire Nancy Grace's completely *ahem* ungraceful (I'm so sorry) stint on Dancing with the Stars.
It's seriously gotten to the point where the only reason they're probably keeping her on is for ratings and more internet jokes/exposure (it's working). I mean, why else would they keep on a horrible dancer (not that I watch it) who not only farts during interviews (see above), but then gives the internet what may very well be the most unwanted nip slip in television history (and this says a lot):
And not only is it really, really difficult not to make a Fantasia reference whenever I'm watching her on TV with my girlfriend, but she makes herself impossible to take seriously.
It's been said before and I'll say it again, they really need to up the caliber of "stars" on Dancing with the Stars.
Australia's Next Top Model Announce Wrong Winner
The inspiration for this list, and probably one of the greatest things that's happened in reality show history, because it is absolutely awful, is the announcement of the wrong winner for Australia's Next Top Model.
Imagine it: all your dreams are on the line, you've fought for weeks to gain the respect and love of your entire country (an entire continent, actually), you've gone through the challenges and put yourself out there for what will literally be your dream come true if you win. It all comes down to this.
The winners are going to be announced and absolutely nothing is more important or nerve-wracking.
Your name is called. You celebrate, you give a speech, you look at your adoring public.
And in an instant, it is taken away from you.
At the Australia's Next Top Model 2010 season finale event, host Sarah Murdoch declared Kelsey Martinovich the winner of the competition to, only one minute later, take it away from her completely, realizing that the wrong winner was fed to her. Amanda Ware actually became the winner of the prestigious competition and Kelsey Martinovich had to go home empty-handed.
Absolutely freaking brutal.
Snooki Gets Punched
In the defining moment of the popular TV show that demonstrates how unfair and ridiculous of a country America is (as well as how entertaining Guidos can be), the first season of The Jersey Shore really brought the drama.
How? Well, the infamous Snooki gets fed up with a guy who is not only mooching off their MTV-paid drinks at the bar and is hanging out with her friends. Why? Because he's a complete D-Bag.
She starts telling him off about leaving her friends alone after he becomes aggressive. His first move?
He punches Snooki in the face.
Watch the video to see it. He actually punches a GIRL in the FACE. For little to no reason other than that he has a short temper (and probably something else.)
Without this controversial and defining moment, we probably wouldn't have Snooki charging $30,000 for appearances on red carpets (welcome to America!) and The Situation netting over $3.5 Million by the end of 2010.
The FAIL in this? The guy who punched a soon-to-be TV star, was sent to jail in front of the whole country in shame, Dateline NBC style, yet helped perpetuate the fame of the person he hated enough (in that drunken moment) to deck in the face.
Canadian Idol Fart
"I totally just farted," the fail-words of a Canadian Idol (that's right, it exists) contestant, pining for the top spot in Canadian pop culture.
This endearing, hilarious video has this girl ripping an almost 90s-style-gag-fart-noise-maker caliber toot that made the judges laugh their asses off.
The greatest parts:
1) How well mic'ed the fart was. It REALLY reverberates in the room (almost better than her voice)!
2) Not only how proud she is of the fart, but how happy she seemed about it. This is a girl you take home to mom.
Amazing Race Watermelon Launch
A contestant on The Amazing Race is doing not-so-great in one of the Gallagher-inspired challenges.
The challenge? To toss a watermelon using a giant slingshot. It's The Amazing Race and all the challenges must be completed quickly, efficiently and with mastery of whatever is going on.
One watermelon is flung, then another... and then. It literally backfires on her. An ENORMOUS sling shot, which she leans back and puts her whole body's worth of force into, flings an entire, full-sized watermelon back at her face.
Watch the video to see what happens.
The worst part? The host who says that (even though the lady had some light fractures and, apparently, a CONCUSSION) she must finish the challenge. Her reasoning?...
"They don't call it The Amazing Race for nothing."
Funniest part? The slowdown of what her supporter is saying right before she seriously pwns herself in the face.
For updates on The Amazing Race, check out what's happening here.
Vern Troyer Rides Scooter Naked, Pees
Vern Troyer looks like a living Russ Troll Doll. He's a good-hearted, yet weird and sexually disturbing little man who not only starred in the Austin Powers sequels as "Mini Me", but went on to have bit parts in various TV shows and movies, making a name for himself as a character actor.
Often making fun of himself, he decided to go on the Surreal Life show, where (pretty much) has-beens/pop culture cult figures like Bobby Brown, Da Brat, Tammy Fae Baker, Vanilla Ice, Erik Estrada and such go into a house and are forced to live together.
They aren't pampered and are forced to take care of themselves... and chaos then ensues. Absolutely ridiculous premise for a show right? Well, apparently not...
In a moment which, if you watch the video, Jimmy Kimmel called one of the greatest Intoxicated Moments of the last decade, Vern Troyer (Mini Me) drove around the house in his scooter completely naked.
Not only did he drive around in the scooter (which he actually used to get around for some weird, fever-dream/nightmare reason - click here for proof ) completely naked, with his weird little pot belly hanging out, but he parked in a corner of the house. And peed.
He peed in the house while completely drunk, completely naked and driving a scooter 3x his size.
The FAIL = his life.
Here's a creepy, BLACKOUT drunk clip of him writhing around in his bed. We've all been there: that "it hurts not to vomit" kind of drunk. Anyway here it is .
America's Next Top Model Contestant Fails
As if plus-size models didn't have it hard enough.
It might seem like walking up and down a runway would be easy as hell. But when you're wearing a Houdini-trap-like dress that wants to trip you and have an almost Doctor-Who-esque pendulum obstacle course in your way, most people would mess up too.
That pendulum thing was downright CRUEL... but awesome to watch, because it's amazing to try and guess WHICH ONE will hit her.
Have fun watching this video.
Anyway, not only does this girl fall while simply walking on stairs, but she gets completely wiped out by a swinging pendulum taken right out of an Indiana Jones movie.
America's Got Talent - "Self Levitation"
This clip proves that, regardless of what Mickey Mouse says, magic doesn't exist.
Remember in Star Wars when Luke first uses The Force? Or whenever David Copperfield made a building disappear (using only clever editing and camera tricks) or whenever Criss Angel makes you cringe (because of how much of a douche he is)?
This magician throws all of that away. His skillset can be summed up in an 11-second-long video.
THIS... is this video.
So You Think You Can Dance Faceplant
A So You Think You Can Dance auditions FAIL. There are many of them, but most of them are just bad form in dancing.
This one, though, really takes the cake.
This guy attempts a front flip, slips before he can fully take off and ends up landing right on his face, for one of the greatest faceplans in reality TV show history.
Best part = the thud. Oh, the thud. The loud, painful, concussion inducing thud.

In the 1960s, television was still relatively new, and there wasn’t much in the way of programming. The concept of games on television began in the 1950s, so many of the earliest game shows aired during the 60s as well. "The Price Is Right," "Truth or Consequences," "Queen for a Day," and "Concentration" had all aired in the 50s and 60s. This list of the best 1960s game shows includes shows that aired between 1960 and 1969, and has been ranked by the community.
Some of the world’s most famous game shows got their start in the 60s, such as "The Dating Game," "Jeopardy," and "The Newlywed Game." Not all the game shows that aired in the 60s had a long shelf live. Shows like "PDQ," "Dream House," and "The Generation Gap" were short lived but enjoyed by audiences nonetheless.

Reality show competitions and judges are two things that go together like peas and carrots. Without a judge, it's nearly impossible to have a competition. On some shows, the dynamic between the judges is almost as interesting to watch as the contestants. When American Idol first hit the airwaves in 2003, viewers were curious to watch people sing for a recording contract, but it was the special chemistry between Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Simon Cowell, who was also a judge on the British singing competition The X-Factor, that drew viewers back week after week. Cowell in particular was able to build an entire empire based on the public persona he crafted on Idol.
Similarly to Idol, the judge teams on America's Got Talent, and The Voice help make those shows popular. After all, when else will you be able to see Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel hang out together. The same goes for Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Blake Shelton, and a rotating cast of judges. The faces of the contestants may change, but the judges for the most part stay the same.
Here's your chance to vote for the best reality show judge. There are plenty of reality TV judges to choose from so select the judges who you think should sit atop this Ultimate List.

Who should the new 'American Idol' judge picks be? With word that 'AI' judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez are calling it quits with the show, it's time to start seriously thinking about their replacements. Should producers go with past 'Idol' winners and/or current hot music artists? They could certainly provide great tips for the 'American Idol' contestants, but can they bring the crazy that Steven Tyler brought? Will viewers like them? That's what this list is about: These are the celebrities who may (or may not) be great choices to fill the judge's chairs left empty. Vote for your favorites and vote down any people that you think would be terrible 'AI' judges. Also? Add anyone you think would be worthy of the honor!
'American Idol' is a singing competition, but that doesn't necessarily mean the judges have to be singers (or singers with talent, for that matter). So why not go with 'AI' producer Nigel Lythgoe's rumored pick, Charlie Sheen? He'd certainly bring the crazy. Or how about some reality TV stars like Snooki or even Kim Kardashian? Yeah, okay fine. They're on the list, but you can vote them down. Jennifer Love-Hewitt's also on the list, because she seems to want to do everything.
On the more serious side, musicians who've mentored on 'American Idol' before might be good choices. Think will.i.am, Stevie Nicks, Gwen Stefani, Alanis Morissette or even Steven Van Zandt. They all know the ins and outs of the industry, after all. And on that note, past 'Idol' winners or top finalists would probably be excellent judges, too, though many (like Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson) are quite busy with other projects. Still, they're worthy of a spot on this list.
Who do you think should be the next 'American Idol' judge? Time to vote!
New American Idol Judge Picks,
Carrie Underwood
Clay Aiken
Gwen Stefani
Harry Connick, Jr.
Justin Timberlake
Keith Urban
Kelly Clarkson

Are they all smart, well-adjusted women? That remains to be seen, but honestly I could care less if they have a physics degree from MIT or a journalism degree from Georgia. Or any degree. No, it's about how beautiful they are for me. This photo list of 'The Bachelor' contestants fits the bill perfectly.
Just my opinion here, but I really don't see how Sean can screw this up. Almost all of the women on this 'Bachelor' contestants photo list are date-worthy. And after what he went through getting dumped by 'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard (karma, honey), he deserves the hottest woman alive on his arm (sensitive guy comment, hope my girlfriend reads this).
